Do I need to register/login to make my purchases?

Shopping at Bonford is easy.

To make a purchase, you need to make an account. You can easily register with us through your valid email id, telephone number and shipping address.

You can also place an order without creating an account. After you’ve placed your order, an account will be automatically created for you and the details of password and username will be sent to your registered email id.

All the purchases will be made through your registered account. Where you can access all the information regarding your order.

Registration can help you with:

1. Tracking of your shipment

2. Raising a request for return/exchange

3. Saving your details for a quicker checkout on your next order

Do the items have warranty/authenticity?

Our shoes do not carry a warranty, but we are here to help you if you face any problem related to the product. For any kind of issues related to your order in terms of defect, craftsmanship, size, etc, you can reach us at support@bonford.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. In consideration with our return policy, we offer free returns within 10 days of delivery.

How do the sizes differ?

All products are sold by the international sizing scheme (Size Guide). Our sizes are standard D same as the UK size you normally wear. If you have wide feet, we suggest you to order a half size bigger than your regular shoe size.

How to order an item if its out of stock?

Do not worry if your favorite pair of shoes are out of stock. You can notify us by clicking on the NOTIFY ME option, adding your email id, telephone number and shoe size. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

You can also mail us on support@bonford.com to find out if your shoe size is available (For registered users only). Once the product is in stock, we will send you an update on your registered mail id.

How long does it take for domestic and international delivery?

Free shipping is offered to the customers within India.

All domestic shipments will take 3-5 business days for delivery from the date of dispatch.

All the international purchases will take 15 days of delivery from the date of purchase.

We are neither accustomed to any kind of custom charges nor will we bear the costs if you refuse to accept the order.

What is your refund and exchange policy?

You can easily return your merchandise in simple steps by logging in to our website and raising a return request and we will arrange for a return pickup from our end. We offer a full refund and exchange policy where you can exchange an item with an alternative product or a different size of the same product. Adhering to strict regulations and conditions, shoes need to be returned unused with all the tags and receipts. Shoes should not be worn or damaged, any damage will result in rejection by our logistic partners/executives.

Follow the simple steps to raise a return request:

1. Login into your BONFORD account with your registered email id and password.

2. Go to ‘My Orders’ where you will find your order number, click the “Return” option.

3. Select the items for which you want to initiate a return request stating the reasons.

4. Select the pick-up address from where our logistics partner will collect the items.

The courier person/ logistics company will contact you and pick up the package from the mentioned address.

We will send you a confirmation mail after receiving the return parcel. Refund will be initiated within 7 working days and will be returned to your original payment account.

Is it possible to change the shipping address after an order has been placed/dispatched?

Once your order is placed, it’s not possible to change your shipping address. We would recommend you to cancel the order by reaching out to us on our helpline number 011-12345678 or mail us on support@bonford.com. After the cancellation process, you can again place your order with the correct shipping address.

Can I track my order, if yes, how?

Once you have placed your order with us with your registered email id, we will share the link of your tracking ID along with your order number on the same id to give you an exact status of your package from the day of shipment to the date of delivery via www.fedex.com/packaging

Domestic shipment generally takes 3-5 working days and international shipment takes approximately 15 days to reach you.

And as per the return policy guidelines, return request can be raised online by logging into our website within 7 days of receiving your order.

What is the type of material used in the shoes?

Bonford’s forté is delivering the best shoes to its customers in terms of quality, comfort and design. Every inch and detail of the shoe is hand carved by our in house experts to deliver the perfect finish

UPPER LEATHER AND LINING - All the shoes are constructed with high quality full grain premium leather handcrafted for perfection, to make them breathable. The lining of the upper is made from leather to give durability to the shoes.

TONGUE - Well constructed with supreme quality leather to evenly distribute pressure between the laces of shoes

COUNTER - It’s the back portion of the shoes constituting of a highly grained thick leather strip at the centre back of the shoe to increase the support, comfort and strength of the heel cup

WELT - Welting is traditionally considered the most superior quality process amongst all the other methods of construction. The Blake stitch construction helps in increasing the life of a shoe and makes it lightweight.

INSOLES AND OUTSOLES - The insoles and soles are cut from leather bends using the heavy presses by our in-house Italian craftsmen to give it a perfect shape. They are cushioned to give comfort to your feet.

SHINE - The soles and heels are painted and the edges are coated with hot wax to seal the leather and give them a good shine. The shoes are hand polished and hand brushed by our skilled craftsmen.

GENTLEMEN’S CUT - It’s a term for a small cut on made on the heel. It was done in the victorian era, to avoid scuffing of trousers. Nowadays, It's a mark of a gentleman

What is the type of material used in the shoes?

The prime step to constructing any pair of BONFORD shoes is using the highest quality, top-grain leather. An experienced team of clickers is hired to follow up on our next step which is cutting and shaping the leather. Once the last is finalized by the team, the upper and lining leather pattern is cut according to the last design by our experts with utmost precision and then the leather is mounted on the last to build a sample with the exact shape
